NOBLE & COOLEY WALNUT CLASSIC, 6 PIECE DRUM KIT, TRANSLUCENT CHERRY RED LACQUER

Back in 2018 we asked Noble & Cooley if they could apply a translucent red lacquer over a Walnut Classic set, this was the first kit of its kind and the reception that kit had was incredible. In 2020 we asked them if they could do it again but with a different hardware combination and in April 2021 it has finally arrived! This is one very exciting kit. Yet again the kit finished in Translucent Cherry Red gloss but this time we have gone for bigger sizes, brass lugs and black chrome hoops. It's very hard to play favourites with Noble & Cooley sets, but this one is certainly up there!

We decided to go big for this one, the kit covers all the bases with 3 rack toms, two floors over a 22 x 16 bass drum which is just thunderous.

Just like the N&C Walnut ply and Solid Shell Classic snare drums, the Walnut Classic drum kits have a lot of low end and a darker vintage tone. Beefy, fat and surprisingly ambient. The Walnut Classic kits are built with the Witt Percussion all horizontal approach that N&C use use on their snare drums.
