Here we have a Yamaha Tour Custom, the world’s largest touring and music festival supply companies state that Yamaha drums and hardware are the most requested and reliable available, which inspired the Yamaha design team in Japan to create the Tour Custom Maple Traditional Satin series. Continuing the design legacy of their original Absolute Series, these new drums combine the projection and expressive capability of all-maple shells with the beautiful grain of US maple inside and out, and are available at an economical price.

All Maple Shell (6ply-5.6mm / 45 degree bearing edge)

All-maple shells give Tour Custom drums their warm, bright tone. These shells are designed with a 6 ply-5.6 mm / 45 degree bearing edge that adds the tonal depth ,quick responce and provides just the right amount of sustain. Finished with a beautiful satin lacquer that maximizes the sonic potential of the maple shell, Tour Custom drums sound great and play well in any musical style.

Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System - Y.E.S.S

YESS mounts are designed to minimize contact between the shell and the mount to deliver a wider dynamic range and longer sustain.

Inverse Dyna Hoop (2.3mm)

Newly designed 2.3mm Inverse Dyna hoops control the natural overtones inherent to all-maple drums and better focus the fundamental tone of the shell.

Absolute Lugs

Tour Custom Shells feature Yamaha's famous and exclusive Absolute Lugs. Their sophisticated design adds a touch of class to the drums.
