PREMIER 14 X 6 GEN X HYBRID BIRCH / MAPLE SNARE DRUM, GUNMETAL SPARKLE (PRE-LOVED)

Here we have one of the original Premier Gen X snares from around 2001 / 2002. The original Gen X series drums eventually became a shell option in the Elite series which all sported the same design. This version however (which came before) features a unique mini lug (based on the Genista design) it also has the famous original 6mm under sized shell which allows for better head seating and sustain. This drum is the original English made drum with the hybrid birch / maple shell and also features the famous Premier 8 lug die-cast hoops on top and bottom A final nice touch is the Nickel Drum Works snare throw off which was a standard option on the Modern Classic series too.

Finished in beautiful Gunmetal Sparkle (a finish unique to this series at the time) this drum is in absolutely mint condition and sounds phenomenal. This is going to be a great drum for a player and/or collector. One of the last properly British drums from Premier made at Blaby Road and certainly one of their nicest shell concepts from the later design years.
