Ludwig Vistalite Very Rare Infused Transparent Red Sparkle finish.

In 2017 to mark 45 years of the Ludwig Vistalite, Ludwig released a limited run of 45 infused Green Sparkle sets. The kit we have here is the very same finishing technique but this time with an infused Red Sparkle. This kit is even more exclusive than the Green, its believed there are only two or maybe three of these in existence and this is certainly the only one in the UK. The infused red sparkle in to the acrylic creates a completely unique and new take on both acrylic and sparkle finishes. The sparkle is visible from inside and outside the drum, the drums are still transparent too meaning that when you light this set up you get a three dimensional effect on the sparkle and you can still see right through the kit. This has to be our favourite Red Sparkle finish to date, we've done our best to give you a sense of the finish with our pictures but nothing will compare to seeing this one in the flesh.

As you'd expect the kit sounds fantastic too, there is just something about a Ludwig Acrylic set, bags of enhanced low end thud and wet thumping attack making them perfect for Rock and heavier styles of music both live and in the Studio! It's unusual to get one in a mod configuration making this versatile enough for Pop and Funk styles too, the addition of the smaller 10 x 8 tom and the deeper 22 x 18 bass drum are extremely welcome touches.

This set features the more modern and durable elite bass drum spurs, mini classic lugs and the iconic Blue and Olive badges. The toms are mounted on a RIMS to enhance sustain and the kit comes two tom holders with universal clamp to attach on to any stand. To complete the look Ludwig went with black wood bass drum hoops with Silver Sparkle inlays which absolutely set this kit off.
