Here we have the new Mars Maple from Mapex! This Mars Maple kit comes in Bop sizes making it great for Jazz applications as well as any requirement where portability or a smaller size set up are required.

The Mapex Mars Maple emits a buttery, classic, and warm 100% maple tone transmitted through beautifully lacquered 7ply 7.2mm European Maple Shells. Mapex also offer the Mars HP6005 hardware pack which you can choose to add as an optional upgrade.

The Mars Maple Shell Pack offers 100% Maple, shallow depth shells with the new SONIClear bearing edge, producing a fast, clear tone with a quick rebound.

The Maple 7Ply 7.2mm shell, with the new SONIClear Bearing Edge, allows for the direct transmission of sound, reduces unwanted frequencies and provides a strong fundamental pitch and an effortless tuning experience especially at lower tunings.

The SONIClear tom suspension and floor tom feet increase overall resonance by preserving vibration in the shell and keeping stress away from the tension rods, helping the heads stay in tune.
