Here we have a beautiful Pork Pie Hip Pig snare drum. Bill Detamore developed the Hip Pig line to be a really high quality great value line of drums. The drums are made and manufactured in Taiwan but to the same high and exacting standards that Bill deploys in his USA shop, to enable this Bill travelled to the Taiwanese factory to work with them on Bearing edges and Hardware appointment. Bill wanted the Hip Pig line to deliver a more vintage vibe which this snare absolutely delivers. Bill Selected Eastern Mahogany shells and went for an 8 lug spec similar to drums from the 60's & 70's.
