This is a vintage chrome over brass snare, featuring slotted key rods on both the top and bottom and the original tube lugs.

The drum is in great condition and delivers an exceptional sound that can easily hold its own against any American-made snare from the same era.

It has some extra holes from when a Premier strainer was installed. There are also minor dents, scratches, and bumps which add character to the drum.

Fitted with the original double-flanged brass hoops with clips, calf heads top and bottom.

One of the finest-sounding vintage chrome over brass snares, it produces a massive, fat crack with beautifully controlled brass overtones and excellent sensitivity.
