Here we have the Maverick 10 ply Maple Snare Drum. The Maverick is the first maple snare drum option offered from BDC. Maverick was created due to overwhelming demand from BDC users and fans. For a long time Maple snare drums have been the go-to for drummers reaching for a wood shell and whilst BDC already offer many incredible and unique wood shell options - a straight maple wasn't one.

Now that has changed! The Maverick is a thin yet super strong 10 ply Maple shell, BDC have constructed the shell with the same cold pressed moulding technique used throughout their wood shell drums. The bearing edge is a 30 round over which really suits this maple shell drum giving it a really responsive performance across the dynamic spectrum.

Another area where BDC never disappoint is the cosmetics department. This drum immediately makes an impression with it's beautiful Eucalyptus outer veneer. The hardware is BDC's own in-house design palladium series with one piece high tension rods, palladium strainer, brass snare wires and chrome BDC logo badge cutaway to reveal more of the veneer behind.
