Mapex have just released a brand new 'top of the line' range of Signature Series Design Lab Snare Drums. These drums all feature unique specifications such as the Artist's personal choice of heads & snare wire. Another first on this range is the inclusion of the Trick multi step throw off systems complete with Mapex branding.

Here we have the Craig Blundell 14 x 5.5 Machine. This is an entirely new model designed from the ground up with Craig himself.

The Machine snare, is crafted with a Maple/Walnut shell delivering a warm and modern sound. Special "gated" Equalizer Puresound snares create a unique clarity and the staggered lugs provide a wide tuning range with powerful projection. The Machine articulates a progressive, dynamic sound with a dark punch and drive.

Personalised features on the new Versatus include Craig's preference of Evans heads and Puresound snare wires.
