Originally starting out with paired EQ1, EQ2 and EQ3 systems offering revolutionary venting, internal dampening and resonance control - these heads quickly became the go to for the best bass drum sounds imaginable.

The EQ resonant series heads play as big a part as the batter sides with incredible amounts of low end tone, punch and presence enhancing properties. These are recommended to be used in conjunction with EQ and EMAD batter heads delivering the complete experience.

Evans EQ3 resonant series features an offset 5" microphone port in a single ply of 10mil film. The series is a very popular choice for both players and engineers.
