Here we have the 3 Piece Istanbul Clap Stack. For any one who likes to play claps this could really be a great alternative to a sample pad and for multiple reasons too!

The Clap Stack is a uniquely shaped and tempered trio comprising of 11", 13" and 15" cymbals stacked on top of each other. The set is designed to create a tactile, acoustic reproduction of analog 8 bit handclap samples which it does extremely well.

The types of sounds have been an integral part of music for generations but when it comes to reproducing these sounds live, its normally a one shot single dynamic sample via a sample pad. Samples are not naturally audible on stage and sonically different to the rest of the acoustic set in terms of the ambience.

The Clap Stack is completely audible acoustically, if you are in a recording or mic'd live situation it will pick up in the same way as the rest of your cymbals via the overheads or you can choose to spot mic it if you want additional control. Because this is a live sound, it will resonate the same way as the rest of your set blending the sound in far better sonically.

The best part about the Clap Stack is its response to dynamics, this isn't just one clap sound, this is an array of different sounds depending on the context and dynamics used whilst playing it. The Decay can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the cymbal stand felts and wing nuts.
