Here we have one of our favourite Ludwig COB combos. The LB400BBTWM is the top flight spec with a killer combination of Chrome Over Brass shell with Brass Tube Lugs, Gold Die Cast hoops and the super smooth beautifully crafted Millennium strainer.
The Chrome Over Brass shell was originally introduced by Ludwig in 1960 as the 'Super Ludwig', it was the predecessor to the Supraphonic. The brass alloy coupled with a chrome plating offers the musical undertones favored of brass with just the right touch of added focus and treble.
Though short lived from its original release, the COB would go on to become one of the most sought after and in demand drums that would lead to its re-release in the mid 90's. This particular model was released originally as a special edition in the early 00's and has been a hit due to its killer looks and impressive spec.
