Here we have one of the last Premier Modern Classic snare drums made in the UK facility. This is one of the Finnish Birch / African Mahogany snares designed in collaboration between Keith Keough and Steve White. This one is finished in Birdseye Maple Veneer. Like many shells Keith has continued to go on and design, this edition of the Modern Classic was constructed using super thin layers of wood cross plied horizontally and vertically which is said to create the most resonant shell.
This particular snare benefits from a wood hoop upgrade.
