Here we have a true American classic in tip top condition. This Rogers Dyna-Sonic is one of the cleanest drums we’ve seen! It’s in full original condition with 10 cast lugs, double beaded, "5 line" chrome on brass shell and original Dyna-sonic swivomatic throw off. Users of the Dyna-Sonic read like a who’s who of drumming greats in the 60’s Buddy Rich was driving his big band with one by the 70’s prog players like Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason where using them in an entirely different way.

The Dyna-Sonic is a versatile drum, with incredible responsiveness. At the time it was also considered highly innovative with the snare cradle system. The 60’s era drums sell for more money than the Big R badge drums but speak to any Dyna-Sonic fans and they will tell you that the performance and the quality was consistent throughout the build period which spanned from the 60’s through to the early 80’s. This is an early 70’s model with the internal control which was briefly removed from the first few hundred Big R edition drums.
