Here we have something extremely special. This is a Sonor One Of A Kind series snare drum which was released as a part of a limited run of 80 drums back in 2016. The Poisonwood snare is a 18 ply, 12mm Maple Shell with inner and outer Poisonwood veneer all of which was taken from one particular tree.

For each edition a certain tree has been selected with the goal in mind to only use the most exiting parts of the grain and set them to perfectly set vertical grain patterns. Vertical outside veneer grains have been introduced through SONOR in 1973 and a the companies trademark ever since.

All veneers are sourced at specialized suppliers in Germany, which guarantee that these trees come from environment friendly sources and are exported/ imported legally.

The Veneers are high glossed to perfection and all the usual Sonor top range refinements such as OSM, CLTF, Tune Safe Lugs, APS and the Dual Glide snare strainer system are present. On this particular model all of the fittings are finished in Chrome and the drum also has Sonor's incredible Die-Cast hoops.

The look on the drum is completed with a specially made One Of A Kind Snare drum badge which has incredible detailing in itself featuring the the iconic Sonor Mallets in matching Poisonwood Veneer. The badge also states that this drum is one of only 80 made.

The snare comes presented in with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

This drum is presented in factory condition. An incredible opportunity for the serious collectors with very few coming up for sale.
