Here we have the incredible Sonor HLZ 5480 Signature Series Hi-Hat stand from the 1980's. At the time Sonor said this was the finest Hi-Hat stand ever devised, many of its ground breaking features have become industry standard offerings as the years have progressed.  The bottom cymbal seat king size angle adjustment screw, the base with quickly adjustable rubber tips to metal spikes, specially designed foot plate intergrating vulcanised rubber with metal inserts and non slip hex rod are just some of the great innovations. Additional features such as hefty steel tubing, solid steel riveting and the adjustable spring attachment made this German built Hi-Hat stand a game changer. This one is in fully original condition complete with Signature Badge name plate and would be a great addition for anyone looking for period correct Sonor stands.
