We're huge fans of the Yamaha Hexrack system! The Hexrack is one of the most customisable rack systems on the market with its wide variety of clamp designs and bar options. The Hexrack is also incredibly lightweight and extremely sturdy, the hexagonal bars give you the ultimate lock with zero movement whilst the clamps with rounded inner sleeve design give you infinite positioning.
The basic HEXRACKII set consists of a front basic rack with a curved 44 inch front bar, two 30 inch high T-legs. Two HXTCII Tom clamps, two HXCCII tube clamps and the Yamaha Clip with built in spirit level are also included. The Top of the T-Leg sections have integrated clamps ready to accomodate cymbal arms or tom arms. The HXR2LII is ready accept 4 arms/holders all the clamps are designed for standard Yamaha tom holders / cymbal holders but will work with other brands of holder with 22.2mm diameter pipes.
Compared to a typical hardware setup, the HEXRACKII uses less space and reduces floor clutter produced by stand legs, etc., around the kit. The system’s pipes and racks are made from aluminium, which makes the system lighter, transport and setup easier. And with a wide variety of optional clamps available, the rack system offers great expandability.
The rack is also a great way of reproducing your exact set up time after time, particularly useful for larger set ups and a great way to add some flare to the look of your set up.
