We are honoured to present this exceptional 20" A Zildjian cymbal from the 1940s-1950s, a true piece of history from Armand Zildjian's personal collection. Released in celebration of what would have been Armand’s 100th birthday, this cymbal represents both his remarkable legacy and the profound impact he had on the world of music.
This unique cymbal is part of a rare collection of early A Zildjian instruments, originally stored in a bank safe at the Quincy factory. After the passing of Armand’s father, Avedis III, the collection was entrusted to Armand and has since been carefully preserved in the Zildjian Family Vault.
Hand-selected by Paul Francis, this cymbal is No. 80 of just 100 in this very limited edition release. Included with this iconic piece are:
