DS Drums are from Italy and are a relative newcomer to the UK market. Founded by Luca Deorsola in 1995, DS have been making drums for their home market for quite sometime and now they are venturing worldwide. The companies focus is on its Rebel Custom Shop drum kits and snares which they offer in a huge variety of shell types and finishes. DS also offer an online configurator where you can design and view your dream drum kit.

What is very exciting about DS is the incredible sound quality, look and value they deliver. We were very proud to launch DS at the UK Drum Show back in September, we also sent the a Birch Rebel kit and snare to Drummers Review where the kit enjoyed some incredible comments and sounded fantastic. REBEL CUSTOM SHOP BIRCH

The kit we have here is an All Birch Rebel set with 5 ply shells. This kit is finished in a very limited Exotic Red Pine Satin, this colour is incredible, we have pictured the kit with some different light settings (Dark through to Bright) to show just how striking this colour is. To further enhance the finish this kit also has Black Nickel fittings throughout.

The Birch Shells deliver scooped mid frequencies, lots of definition, these will work fantastically well under microphones in both studio and live situations.

  • 5 Ply All Birch Shells
  • Exotic Red Pine Solid Satin Finish

  • 2.3mm Triple Flanged Hoops
  • Rebel Lugs, Bass Drum Spurs, Claws and Brackets
  • All hand made by DS in Torino, Italy
  • Toms Fitted with Remo Ambassador Coated (top and bottom) Bass Drum Fitted with Remo P3 clear batter and Black Ebony P3 DS logo head

Please Note: We've also featured the new Rebel Aluminium Snare in the pictures and video. To finish off the look the kit is set up with a full set of Paiste Formula 602 cymbals. The Snare, Cymbals and Stands are not included, please contact us if you would like to configure additional items to create your desired set up.
