DW have included their innovative TruePitch tuning screws which maximise tuning stability and sustains the precise tones for much much longer.

DW have incorporated their MAG snare throw-off system which has been designed to change the timbre of your snare sound instantaneously and effortlessly. This particularly comes in handy during performances and even during songs to rapidly switch up your sound. If that wasn't enough, the Snare is fitted with Remo USA drumheads to bring all the shells' vibrant, natural tones to life.

Astonishing Acrylic Shell

This snare comes with a seamless acrylic shell which brings a whole new wave of snare tones to the table. The shell is 5mm thick allowing for the tones to be projected at a powerful volume as well as providing extreme shell rigidity for a sturdy performance. Of course, this acrylic material also boasts a vivid transparent aesthetic that comes to life under lights.

MAG Snare Throw-Off

The DW snare MAG throw-off system offers a horizontal tension adjustment and a smooth and easy action. The efficient movement of this strainer allows for seamless application and removal of the snare wires. Not only is this simple and easy to use it is also noise-free, when released the snare wires are completely removed from the head to minimise the risk of buzz during use. Furthermore, the MAG throw-off allows the user to change between five different levels of strainer tension, putting you in total control of how your snare drum sounds.

True pitch tension rods allow for precision tuning

Included with this snare drum are true pitch tension rods, this unique feature deliver extended tension rod thread compared to a standard tension rod which allows you, the drummer, to achieve a precision tuning tailored to your sound. Also included with this snare are the DW true Hoops. These drum hoops allow for optimum contact between the shells bearing edge and drum head, delivering a clear tone and various tuning options.
