The J is for Jazz! Evans J1 series features an etched single ply of 10mil film that is ideal for brushes and sensitive at all dynamic levels. The texture will not chip away under drumsticks!

  • An etched finish that combines the sustain of an uncoated head wih the warmth of a traditional coating.

  • Achieves a brilliant rimshot without sacrificing depth. Warm and dense in the center with a full sustain on the edges.
