Here we have a very nice Gretsch Renown Maple drum kit. Across the years the Renown has always been a high quality, feature packed great sounding kit. This is from the previous generation the last to offer Die-Cast Hoops.

Renown still features the classic 7-ply Gretsch formula maple shells, with 30-degree bearing edges and exclusive “Silver Sealer” interiors. The Gretsch Die-Cast hoops produce the desirable focused sound. The Renown delivers the traditional Gretsch sound with an incredible open, harmonic tone that supplies the versatility needed to meet the demands of the hardest working drummers.

Renown looks as good as ever, with numerous appointments that are traditionally Gretsch, including a lightweight, off-the-shell mounting system, distinctively styled lugs, brackets, memory locks and bass drum spurs and the classic “T-Wing” screw. 

The one we have here is finished in Satin Black Lacquer. It's in great condition, we have replaced the batter heads with new Evans G2, the resonants are new Genera resonants, the bass drum has a new EMAD batter head and a new white EQ3 NP Gretsch branded display head. This kit is raring to go.

  • PreLoved - 8/10 condition - some marks on the 11 o'clock position of the bass drum (player perspective) looks like the previous owner had the tom set quite low and it has created some rub marks, otherwise an extremely clean and re-headed kit ready to go.
