Here we have the new Ludwig Super Brass 14 x 6.5 snare drum. Originally these highly collectable transition badge drums were launched in the 1960's by Ludwig and were brought back in to the range in 2019. The contrast of the Brass Shell with Nickel Imperial Lugs, Snare Strainer and Hoops is absolutely breath taking!
Introduced in 1960 as the Super Ludwig, this drum was the predecessor to the Supraphonic. The brass alloy offers the musical undertones favored of brass with just the right touch of added focus and treble.
This new model offers a highly-collectible transition badge version that were predecessors to the original standard 1960 model that featured chrome hardware. The revered tone of Ludwig seamless brass with a whole new look!
