Here we have the iconic Ludwig 402. The 402 Supraphonic is one of the most recognised and recorded snare drums in the world. If you're talking John Bonham snare sound the words 402 will follow quickly behind and the list of pro players who have used the 402 is never ending and forever increasing.

The LM402 that we have here is the original smooth shell 402 design. These drums are lots of fun to play and incredibly quick and easy to get a top flight sound out of.

Ludwig have recently added further improvements to the 402 such as the Badge, Plating and Snare throw off which make this latest generation of 402's the best yet.
