After a fantastic UK Drum Show, we’re offering special deals on our ex-display Black Panther snare drums. Each drum was showcased at the event and shows minor stick marks on the batter head but is otherwise in excellent condition. These come with the factory box and include a full 12-month warranty. A great chance to pick up a Black Panther at a discount—you'll need to be quick, we only have one of each model available!
The Metallion
The Metallion is a 14 x 5.5 1.2mm seamed brass shell. Mapex refer to this drum as the standard. The Brass shell is typically warm with a great balance of metal shell attack. If you're looking for something metal a shade away from wood, this could be a great choice!
The Metallion has Sonic Saver Hoops, staggered 1/8" offset locking B lugs and rolled SONIClear 45 degree bearing edges. The drum is finished in a brushed gloss, has chrome hardware and comes fitted with Remo USA Ambassador X Coated batter head and Ambassador Snare Side underside.
The Black Panther Cylinder drive snare mechanism is fitted which allows the snare wires to be incrementally tensioned from both ends of the wire.
Like all Black Panther series drums from recent years this snare comes with a Mapex Black Panther draw string bag which allows you to safely store the drum and protect the hardware and finish when not in use.
