Here we have the newest addition to the Mars Series - The Mapex Mars Maple! Mapex Mars Maple emits a buttery, classic, and warm 100% maple tone transmitted through beautifully lacquered 7ply 7.2mm European Maple Shells. Mapex also offer the Mars HP6005 hardware pack which you can choose to add as an optional upgrade.

Customers have been asking for the return of a 20" Bass drum to the Mars series and now it's here! The Mars Series Fusion Shell Pack includes smaller sizes that are equally suited for the rock drummer needing a highly portable, great sounding kit, or the jazz drummer needing versatility. 

The Mars Maple Shell Pack offers 100% Maple, shallow depth shells with the new SONIClear bearing edge, producing a fast, clear tone with a quick rebound.

The Maple 7Ply 7.2mm shell, with the new SONIClear Bearing Edge, allows for the direct transmission of sound, reduces unwanted frequencies and provides a strong fundamental pitch and an effortless tuning experience especially at lower tunings.

The SONIClear tom suspension and floor tom feet increase overall resonance by preserving vibration in the shell and keeping stress away from the tension rods, helping the heads stay in tune.

All Mapex Mars drum kits are supplied as Shell Packs, for the purpose of display our images show the kit with the Mars HP6005 hardware Pack which is not included. At the top of the listing are some additional upgrades you can add to your Mars. There are Hardware Packs, Drum Head Upgrades,Bass Drum Dampening Solutions and Recommended Cymbal Packs.
