NOBLE & COOLEY CD MAPLE 5 PIECE WOOD HOOP DRUM KIT, HEMATITE SPARKLE

Here we have a stunning Noble & Cooley CD Maple finished in Hematite Sparkle Lacquer with some very special specifications. We've spec'd some very ambitious N&C sets over the years and this one is no exception. This time we wanted to really show you what N&C can do! We decided to ask them for Wood Hoops throughout the kit. Wood hoops are always a special undertaking, for this one we pushed it one step further and asked for them to be completely matching to the finish on the kit!

As always N&C have completely delivered, their wood hoops are already what we believe to be the finest on the market today. Every hoop is custom built for each drum. N&C make all the necessary adjustments to floor tom hoops to ensure the legs can still pass through correctly with no rub, these touches ensure the whole set up is completely taylored. All the tension rods sink through the hoop eliminating the need for claw hook solutions which over time will mark the hoops in the same way bass drum hoops age over the years. There is plenty of space around the tension rod to get any drum kit inside to deal with tuning and re-heading. Not only is this design completely functional and the most aesthetically pleasing look (especially with the matching finish) these hoops also feel great to play and enhance the sound of the kit. N&C have also ensured these hoops are built to last, they are certainly up there with the most durable hoops we've seen meaning this is a kit you can use everyday!

The sizes of this set are 10 x 9 & 12 x 10 Toms, 14 x 14 & 16 x 16 Floor Toms and 22 x 18 Bass Drum. We have plenty of snares from N&C that would beautifully compliment this set, we have shown a 14 x 8 Copper and 13 x 6.5 Matching Solid Shell Maple in the pictures. The kit enjoys modern touches such as the Cool Mount tom mounting systems and N&C's flawless black chrome hardware throughout.

It's certainly a favourite here, the sound is warm and deep. This would be a fantastic kit for the road or in the studio. We also decided to spec power toms on this set to further enhance the looks and enhance the tone available from the wood hoops.

The CD Maple series has been a mainstay of the Noble & Cooley line continuously since 1983. Among the first modern, high quality all-maple drums sets, these kits have been used by countless players in virtually every type of musical style. Defined by a big, ambient, warm tone and a large tuning range these drums are at home in the studio or on stage.

The CD Maple features 100% Maple shells with a varying ply method depending on the size of drum to maximise the resonance. All toms feature precession RIMS mounting systems with Noble and Cooley's new 'cool mount' adaption.

The Hematite Sparkle lacquer is a masterclass in drum finishing. N&C have long been known for their furniture grade finishing. In recent years N&C have introduced some of the finest Sparkle Lacquer finishes on the market. Hematite sparkle has been a particular favourite with our customers. We've taken lots of close up soft focus shots to give you an idea of just how breathtaking this finish is. This kit needs to be seen!
