NOBLE & COOLEY UNION SERIES 3 PIECE BOP DRUM KIT, TULIPWOOD, BLACK WASH GLOSS, BRASS AND BLACK FITTINGS

Here we have a beautiful N&C Union in Bop Sizes. Noble & Cooley announced this new series in late summer 2020 which becomes the fourth drum kit series in the current line up alongside CD Maple, Horizon and the Walnut Classic.

From the Civil War to today, Noble & Cooley have been making drums designed to send a message. The Union Series is a modern kit made of tulipwood, the same type of wood they used to make marching drums for the Union army. These drums have a focused, clear attack with a traditional vintage tone that is well controlled whether played hard or soft. And while the wood is a throwback, their modern construction, hardware and hand-cut edges create a well-balanced and versatile sound, giving you the ability to cover a wider range of the musical spectrum with just one kit.

There are many typical N&C touches such as the graduating shells which get thicker as the sizes get bigger, like all current N&C drum sets - cool mounts come as standard, there are a wide array of finish options and a choice of lug type and fitting finish types too.

For this Union we decided to go for bop sizes and a N&C staple finish - Black Wash Gloss. N&C have always been the masters of Black Translucent finishes but we had no idea how next level this finish would look over the tulipwood shell! The wide grain pattern really works with N&C's staining technique. To really set the finish off we spec'd Brass Tube Lugs and Black Chrome hoops which really go nicely with the new Black and Gold Union Series badges too.
