PREMIER B303 4 PIECE MAHOGANY DRUM KIT, ROYAL PURPLE, INCLUDES LOKFAST HARDWARE

Here we have an as near to time machine example of a Premier B303 as you are ever going to get. This kit features the 3 ply Mahogany Shells with Beech reinforcement rings. The 303 code refers to the configuration of the set which is a 12 x 8, 14 x 8, 16 x 16 and 22 x 14. The kit has the original Die-Cast hoops, built in tone controls, Premier’s diamond chrome plating and is finished in original Royal Purple Wrap. To fully complete the look there is a full set of Premier Lock Fast hardware as pictured all in excellent working order and condition and finally there is a 252 pedal. All you need to do is add a Premier 2000 or HiFi snare and your away!

This set is early 70’s the condition of the Chrome and the Wrap is very good, the signs of age mainly show on the black painted parts of the bass drum hoops in the pedal position and underneath the bass drum claws. This is totally expected for the age. There is also slight fading on 14 x 8 rack tom, it is very slightly different from the other drums but it certainly doesn’t detract from the originality of the finish.

The included lock fast hardware is in excellent condition and it really sets this kit off whilst giving it that perfect period look too! This hardware is probably some of the best Premier ever built and with flat base stands coming back in to fashion this is going to work really well in even the most modern of settings. The 252 pedal that is included really requires no introduction and again this pedal is in excellent condition and feels great to play. Finally the kit benefits from lots of new heads, the toms have brand new Aquarian Texture Coated batters, the Reso’s are Aquarian Classic Clear, the Bass Drum had a brand new Evans EQ3 Batter head and the original white Premier Everplay display head with 70’s Black Premier Logo is present too.
