Here we have an early 1990's Remo Bravo snare drum. Bravo was Remo's well priced line, but the series maintained some features from the Encore and Mastertouch series drums such as the Acoustic 516 shells. These shells are really nice sounding and deliver a great deal more tone than their Mirror Chrome finish would suggest. The 8 lug spec which originally was done to reduce the price of the drum actually contributes to the fatter and better response the drum can deliver at low mid tunings. For those in the know, this is a great and inexpensive snare!
