The Force 3000's main features are the amazing sound and tone generated from the Birch Shells combined with the excellent build and material quality. Like all Sonor products at this time, the Force 3000 was "Made in Germany."

The high quality of the Force 3000 sound was the result of a new birch shell construction at the time. The even and durable fiber structure of select plies of birch is the foundation for the drums clear resonance and powerful attack. This snare has 9-ply, 7.5mm cross-laminated shells and has traditional Sonor precision 45 degree bearing edges. This combination enable a clear precise tone. The Force 3000 design is the consequent development of Sonor's new visual appearance. The one-piece tubular style lugs (taken from the HiLite series) have a modern look, and actually relieve shell stress when tension is applied.

Another feature of Force 3000 drums is their high quality finish and this one is offered in Green Lacquer.
