SONOR PHONIC PLUS 8 PIECE DRUM KIT, GLOSS WHITE, REFURBISHED (PRE-LOVED)

Here we have an incredible Sonor Phonic Plus from the late 80’s. This kit comes in the extended square sizes, it's finished in stunning Gloss White. This kit has had restoration work done on both the finish and chrome work by Gary Noonan. As you would expect from Gary Noonan the quality of this restoration is top notch and is totally true to how the kit should look. All the metal work and shells are totally original in terms of their appearance and specifications.

Phonic Plus drums were the foundation of the Sonor drum program in the late 80’s. The extended shells of the Phonic Plus series were said to produce additional volume and certainly deliver a formidable look. Phonic was also a firm favourite amongst the Sonor Artist roster for both its durability and sound quality.

All Phonic Plus drums were made in Sonor Germany from high quality Beech in a 9-ply format. They are renowned for their full sound and high projection. Like the Signature series, the phonic features the very same Ferro Manganese rims on the toms and hoops on the bass drum, snap lock tension rods and prism clamp systems on the floor tom brackets and bass drum spurs.

For any one looking for a shell bank of Phonic Plus in 2020 you will be hard pressed to find a better example than this kit. The previous owner has gone to great lengths to keep this kit preserved and together. The kit also comes fitted with brand new Ludwig Silver Dot Batter heads and Remo Ambassador resonant heads throughout.

These kits are high demand for both collectors and players who want one of Sonor’s most iconic ranges. Whether you choose to collect it or play it this kit is not going to disappoint.
