Here we have a Trixon Luxus Drum Set. These German Made kits were imported in to the U.K. in the early 1960's by Ivor Arbiter with notable users at the time such as Brian Bennett and Clem Cattini.

The one we have here is a beech shell set finished in Blue Crocodile. The wrap has survived very well, there are a few chips on the shells, the inlay on the back hoop has perished but the colour hasn't suffered from the more serious fading that you often see, all three drums are a good and consistent match.

The Trixon triple-flanged hoops on the two toms are bent inwards at the top in a similar manner to Slingerland. The lug bolts have slot-headed screws and the lugs are the Trixon Type E Luxus Lug. There are no additional drill holes on the kit, it is fully original with all but one of the original built in dampeners. The tom mount and cymbal mount which would have fitted to the bass drum did not come with the kit.

  • Pre-Loved - 6.5/10 Condition - Missing the tom holder, cymbal arm and one internal dampener on the bass drum. Very fair condition throughout.
