Here we have an absolutely stunning Pre-Loved BCAN! Offered for sale here is a stunning Yamaha Absolute Beech Nouveau drum kit in specially ordered sizes and finish. This kit was made at the Yamaha Japan Facility and features the (sakae constructed) Beech Shells and the Revolutionary design Nouveau quick release lug which in later years formed the basis for the current re-designed quick release lugs now found on the PHX and Hybrid series. This kit is finished in stunning Gold Sparkle Fade lacquer which is even more impressive in the flesh.

Yamaha added Beech to the Absolute line after the success of the Beech Custom Series. The Beech Shell shell quickly became a favourite because of its excellent sonic properties.

The bass drum utilises an 8-ply, 10mm-shell construction, the 15 inch floor tom has a 6-ply, 7.5mm shell. The 10 and 12 inch toms also use 6-ply shells but 6mm thick. The shell design puts emphasis on mid and low frequencies with just the right amount of power to deliver a well balanced beech sound. 

The unique chrome body lug casings found on the Absolute series are fixed to the drum shell with only a single bolt allowing the drum to vibrate freely. A special nylon insert prevents tension rods from becoming loose during play. The Nouveau lug allows the hoops to be quickly released without the need to fully undo all the tension rods, this allows for far quicker head changes.

Other notable features on this kit are the famous Yamaha Air Seal System which refers to Yamaha's unique shell building philosophy, Aluminium DieCast hoops on the Toms and Floor Toms and YESS mounts on the toms.
